Number 10 Downing Street

The elusive house of the Prime Minister- heavily guarded of course.

  1. What's up with the ratty looking construction fences?

I'm curious to know if the majority think these security measures are necessary or excessive.

  2. You can't even see the number 10 or the door, which was so disappointing. And they've added a few more fences. Sad.

Since Wayne's being curious, I'll be so, too.

Do you think there are tunnels from No. 10 to Whitehall? The Prime Minister would never have to feel fresh air, and these coppers are just for show.

  3. Overall is was pretty disappointing to see No. 10. There really isn't anything to see.

And i don't know if these measures are excessive because I kinda laughed when I walked by a heavily barricaded building near High St Kensington and found out it was the Iranian Ambassy- but it was apparently accosted a couple weeks ago... In such a posh neighborhood too.

I could also be completely miss-informed.
